Sinopsis:

Una madre soltera de 32 años decide irse a América para mejorar sus condiciones de vida y las de su hijo autista. Anna se arriesga, vende la casa y le da el dinero a un hombre que le promete conseguir un visado ilegal de la embajada. 

The single mom Anna is forced to take three then four jobs to support herself and her autistic son who lives in a children's home, and when the whole thing becomes too much to bear she decides to leave Georgia and travel to the US. But it's easier said than done getting tickets and the faked visa she needs.

Sinopsis:

Jane es una veinteañera con sindrome de asperger que tiene una sobreprotectora hermana mayor, Bianca, que acaba de comprometerse. Cuando sus padres anuncian que se mudan de Brooklyn a los suburbios de Nueva Jersey, proponen a las hermanas que se muden juntas. Esta sugerencia hace que Bianca se replanteé su situación y que reexamine la relación que tiene con su hermana.

Jane Wants a Boyfriend centers around JANE -  a bright eyed young woman in her mid 20’s living with autism - and her overprotective, and recently engaged older sister, BIANCA.  When their parents announce that they are moving out of their Brooklyn brownstone, and heading to the suburbs of New Jersey, they propose the sisters move in together - a suggestion that throws Bianca's newly engaged life through a loop, and forces her to re-examine her relationship with her sister.
