Una historia sincera sobre 3 luchas familiares separadas. Mientras que los padres de Noah tienen dificultades para salvar su matrimonio, luchan por entender lo que se necesita para criar a su hijo de 4 años con Autismo. Además de eso, después de ser diagnosticada con leucemia, Franki, de 5 años, y su joven madre soltera Lucy se enfrentan a este mundo aterrador y nuevo, solo. Tanto Ben como Jacob están mirando su peor pesadilla en la cara cuando de repente se ven obligados a mudarse con su padre distanciado después del repentino fallecimiento de su madre. Pero, ¿cómo están todos conectados?

A heartfelt story about 3 separate family struggles. While Noah's parents have a difficult time saving their marriage, they struggle to understand what it takes to raise their 4 year old son with Autism. Alongside that, after being diagnosed with Leukaemia, 5 year old Franki and her young, single-mother Lucy are facing this scary and new, world alone. Both Ben and Jacob are looking their worst nightmare in the face when they are suddenly forced to move in with their estranged Father after the sudden passing of their Mother. But how are they all connected?

Xi He (Destiny)

Sinopsis:

Xi He, es un niño autista de 9 años a quien le encanta ir a la escuela. Sin embargo, los padres de sus compañeros de clase tienen miedo de su condición y no quieren que él estudie con sus hijos. Por cuarta vez, es expulsado de su escuela por portarse mal. El director de la escuela quiere ayudar, pero con las manos atadas, sucumbe a la presión de los otros padres. La madre de Xi He,  lucha por el derecho de su hijo a una educación normal a pesar de su imperfección. Ella quiere que él tenga la oportunidad de una vida normal. De vuelta en el campo, su hermano sufre de autismo y es perseguido por la gente ignorante de su aldea. Su vieja madre, incapaz de cuidarlo por más tiempo, lo mantiene en una jaula para mantenerlo a salvo de los demás y de sí mismo; como un animal. La infancia de Tian Lin se cierne sobre recuerdos teñidos por el efecto de la vida de su hermano sobre ella. Ella decide enseñarle a Xi He, por si misma, dispuesta a hacer todo lo posible para salvarlo de este destino.

Xi He is a 9 year old autistic child who loves to go to school. However, his classmates' parents are afraid of his condition and don't want him to study with their children. For the fourth time, he gets expelled from his school for misbehaving. The director of the school wants to help but with his hands tied, succumbs to the pressure from the other parents. Xi He's mother fights for her son's right to a normal education despite his imperfection. She wants him to have the chance for a normal life. Back in the Chinese countryside, her brother suffers from autism and is hunted by the ignorant people from her village. Her old mother, unable to take care of him any longer, keeps him in a cage to keep him safe from others and from himself; like an animal. Tian Lin's childhood looms of memories tinted by her brother's life's effect on hers. She decides to teach Xi He herself, willing to do everything to save him from this destiny.
