Sinopsis:

Transcurre durante el verano en las Islas de la Madeleine de Quebec, Mario y Simón son dos hermanos que viven en un pueblo de pescadores con su madre, que tiene una tienda de ultramarinos, y su padre, que dirige un negocio de pesca. Mario tiene diez años, mudo y con autismo. Él se retira de la realidad y vive en un mundo surrealista que sólo comparte su hermano mayor Simón y su mascota de peluche coyote. Mario está muy unido y admira profundamente a su hermano de 18 años, dependiendo de su amor y atención. Simón lee  historias de Las Mil y una Noches a Mario, lo viste con piel de jeque y juegan a guerras imaginarias en una fortaleza de estilo árabe que ellos construyeron. Todo cambia cuando Helene, una hermosa joven turista se interfiere entre los dos hermanos. Simón se enamora y comienza a descuidar a su hermano y pasar el tiempo con ella. Mario se siente rechazado y descubre  odia y está celoso. Se suceden una cadena de acontecimientos que conducen a la tragedia.

 

Set during summer in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine of Quebec, Mario and Simon are two brothers living in a fishing village with their mother, who runs a grocery story, and their father, who runs a fishing business. Mario is ten years old, mute and autistic. He is withdrawn from reality and living in a surreal world that only his older brother Simon and his stuffed coyote share. Mario is very close with and deeply admires his 18 year old brother, whom he depends upon for love and attention. Simon reads Arabian Knights stories to Mario, dresses him in sheik's clothing and they play out imaginary wars in an Arabian style fortress that they built. Everything changes when Helene, a beautiful young tourist comes between the two brothers. Simon falls in love and begins to neglect his brother to spend time with her. Mario feels rejected and discovers what hate and jealously are. He sets about a chain of events that lead to tragedy.

 

Tourné aux Îles-de-la-Madeleine, le film raconte l'histoire d'amour entre Mario, un jeune autistique, et son frère aîné. «Avec un doigté presque magique, Beaudin nous aspire dans un monde impossible, celui de l'enfance. À première vue inoffensif, l'univers réaliste qu'il nous décrit chavire doucement vers le rêve. Du coup, la dimension change. L'illusion s'installe. Mario, un jeune garçon, vit retranché dans son monde intérieur avec comme seuls amis un coyote en peluche et les personnages fantaisistes que lui invente son frère aîné, Simon. Une jeune fille chère à Simon vient involontairement bouleverser les règles du jeu.

Sinopsis:

Poet Maya Angelou made her feature directorial debut with this African-American family drama, shown theatrically but originally produced for the Showtime cable network. Unemployed single mother Loretta (Alfre Woodward) lives with her mother, Rosa Lynn (Mary Alice), in a Chicago apartment. Drugs and alcohol lead Loretta to neglect her autistic daughter, Tracy (Kulani Hassen). Her teen son Thomas (Mpho Koaho) brings in money by photographing tourists. Rosa Lynn pawns a family heirloom in order to send Loretta and the kids off to their Mississippi Delta hometown where Loretta's Uncle Earl (Al Freeman Jr.) runs his diner. Earl lives in a dry county, so Loretta is reluctant. However, she has no choice after Rosa Lynn threatens to contact child-welfare authorities if she doesn't go. Earl takes in the trio even though he already has enough problems with Annie (Esther Rolle), an Alzheimer's victim under the supervision of caregiver Zenia (Loretta Devine).

 

La poeta Maya Angelou hizo su debut como directora, con este drama familiar afroamericano, que se muestró en los cines pero originalmente fué producida para la cadena de cable Showtime. Madre soltera desempleada Loretta ( Alfre Woodward ) vive con su madre, Rosa Lynn (Mary Alice ) , en un apartamento de Chicago. Breaking and Entering ( Violación de domicilio)

Sinopsis:

Will (Jude Law) es un arquitecto urbanista londinense cuya vida gira alrededor del trabajo y su familia. Bea, la hija de su novia, sufre autismo, lo que hace la vida insoportable a la pareja pues no les deja conciliar el sueño por las noches y se ven indefensos ante la situación, causando conflictos entre ambos.

Una serie de robos en la oficina de Will rompen con la monotonía de su vida y le sumergen en una espiral autoexploratoria donde el propio Will lidiará con las miserias y grandezas de la condición humana todo ello enmarcado en el contexto de un Londres moderno donde los valores (o su falta de los mismos) de la sociedad materialista e impersonal de una gran ciudad se reflejan en las relaciones interpersonales de los protagonistas así como en sus preocupaciones y anhelos.

Will Francis (Jude Law), a young Englishman, is a landscape architect living a detached, routine-based life in London with his Swedish-American girlfriend Liv (Robin Wright Penn) and her autistic daughter Bea. The 13-year-old girl's irregular sleeping and eating habits as well as her unsocial behaviour (she has trouble relating to people and seems only interested in doing somersaults and gymnastics) reach worrying proportions and start to put a lot of strain on Will and Liv's relationship. Complicating the situation further is his feeling of being shut out of their inner circle since Bea is not his biological daughter. He and Liv start relationship counselling, but their drifting apart continues.

Sus reflexiones dentro de un laberinto, las conversaciones que mantiene con un amigo de su pueblo y el viaje a Bruselas con su familia para visitar por primera vez el Museo Tintín (una de sus grandes pasiones) nos acercan a su particular manera de vivir y de entender el mundo. Un mundo hostil descrito desde la experiencia, emotiva y a la vez llena de optimismo, de padres y madres de niños diagnosticados de autismo. Un mundo extraño abordado por los psicoanalistas desde la subjetividad, la singularidad y el respeto.

Una mirada diferente sobre el autismo que nos acerca a otra manera de estar en el mundo y sobrevivir en él. Una canto al respeto y a la dignidad. Una cuestión de civilización y de derechos humanos.

 

Unes altres veus és un documental sobre l'autisme a partir de l'experiència de nou pares, mares i avis de nens diagnosticats d'autisme; del testimoni de l'Albert, un jove de 20 anys diagnosticat de Síndrome d'Asperger; i des de la mirada de diversos psicoanalistes d'arreu d'Europa.

Els testimonis de tots ells ens apropen a una altra manera d'entendre i de tractar l'autisme. L'experiència dels pares, emotiva a l'hora que plena d'optimisme, ens permet descobrir què implica viure i conviure amb l'autisme: els primers indicis de quelcom que no anava com s'esperava en els seus fills, les primeres paraules, els diversos recorreguts fins a trobar algú que ajudés als seus fills i a ells; la recerca d'una escola on poder estar i aprendre; els avenços i les dificultats en cada cas, l'arribada a l'adolescència, la preocupació pel seu futur, ...

Vase De Noces -The Pig Fucking

Sinopsis:

La película trata sobre un hombre autista que vive en una granja rural en Bélgica. Que demuestra un comportamiento extraño desde el principio: coloca de cabezas de muñecas a las palomas , la recogida de residuos de envases de vidrio ; degollar una gallina para su propia diversión . También está obsesionado con una cerda que vive en la granja. Se le ve con regocijo revolcándose en el estiércol con la cerda , y luego las violaciones , a lo que su comportamiento sugiere, que él ve como un acto íntimo y de mutuo acuerdo. Más tarde, la cerda da a luz a una camada de lechones. El hombre intenta darles leche con cuchara a los lechones , pero los lechones prefieren beber directamente desde el recipiente de leche. En general, los lechones prefieren la compañía de su madre, despreciando repetidamente los avances del hombre. Tomando este rechazo como una ofensa personal imperdonable , el hombre cuelga los lechones hasta la muerte y deja sus cuerpos colgados al aire libre. Cuando la hembra descubre los restos de los lechones, corre locamente alrededor de la granja chillando . La cerda se desliza en una profunda charca de barro y se ahoga allí.
El hombre busca a la hembra, y se vuelve visiblemente consternado al descubrir que ha muerto. Arrastra el cuerpo del barro, lo entierra en los terrenos agrícolas y crudamente intenta sumergirse en la tierra. Se levanta , y su " dolor " se convierte en rabia . Corre alrededor de la asolada granja y destrozando sus pertenencias de la casa, incluyendo los tarros de basura. Él prepara y consume enérgicamente un "té" hecho de heces y orina , con determinación y sube por una escalera en el granero y se ahorca con una cuerda. En la escena final , se ve su espíritu flotando hacia el cielo.

The film follows an autistic man who lives on a farm in rural Belgium . He demonstrates bizarre behavior from the beginning: fastening doll's heads to pigeons; collecting waste in glass jars; beheading a hen for his own amusement. He is also obsessed with a sow who lives on the farm. We see him gleefully rolling around in the manure with the sow, and then he rapes it, which his behavior suggests he sees as an intimate and mutually agreeable act. Later, the sow gives birth to a litter of piglets. The man attempts to spoon-feed milk to the piglets, but the piglets prefer to drink directly from the milk bowl. In general, the piglets prefer their mother's company, repeatedly scorning the man's advances. Taking this rejection as an unforgivable personal slight, the man hangs the piglets to death and leaves their bodies strung up in the open. When the sow discovers the remains of the piglets, it runs madly around the farm squealing. The sow slips into a deep patch in the mud and drowns there.

The man searches for the sow, and becomes visibly distraught when he discovers it dead. He drags the body from the mud, buries it on the farm grounds, and crudely attempts to bury himself on a patch of ground nearby. He gets up, and his 'grief' turns to rage. He rushes around the farm scattering and smashing his belongings from the house, including his jars of waste. He prepares and vigorously consumes a 'tea' made of feces and urine, and determinedly climbs a ladder in the barn and hangs himself with a rope. In the final scene we see his spirit floating skyward.

Hay cientos de miles de familias en China que se ven afectados por el autismo . Estas familias a menudo se enfrentan a una situación desesperada. Tienen poco o ningún conocimiento sobre el autismo y no saben cómo enseñar o hacer frente a sus hijos. También están excluidos en gran medida por una sociedad que no lo entiende ni acepta. Por otra parte, en China no existe un sistema de seguridad social , por lo tanto, las dificultades financieras son una importante carga adicional.El documental "Hijos de las Estrellas " se centra en la familia Wei Feng Jia. Su niño de cinco años tiene autismo . Él no puede hablar y es a menudo muy violento. Ha sido rechazado desde todas sus escuelas locales y no parece siquiera reconocer a sus padres . En la familia, con frecuencia reciben maltrato verbal por parte de personas que no entienden el comportamiento de su hijo. There are hundreds of thousands of families in China who are affected by autism. These families often face a desperate situation. They have little or no knowledge of autism and do not know how to teach or cope with their child. They are also largely excluded by a society that does not understand or accept them. Furthermore, in China there is not a social security system, therefore financial hardships are a major additional burden.

The documentary “Children of the Stars” focuses on the Feng Jia Wei family. Their five year old boy is autistic. He cannot speak and is often very violent. He has been rejected from all their local schools and does not seem to even recognise his parents. As a family, they frequently receive verbal abuse from people who do not understand their son's behaviour. The career of both parents has also been destroyed because their son requires constant care and attention. The family feel they have nowhere else to turn and as their future looks so bleak, they have been harbouring a dark plan of suicide.

Their last real chance lies in a course offered by a little charity school in Beijing called “Stars and Rain”. Here, they hope to master new behavioural techniques that will enable them to teach and manage their son. If he can make enough progress then he may stand a chance of being accepted into a regular local school. If he fails, then the outlook for all of them is grim.

The family travel across the country to reach Beijing. The film then follows them as they take a deeply moving journey through the eleven weeks of the course. It is an extraordinary story of parental love as they fight to give a future to their son.

 

在中国有成千上万的家庭被孤独症所困扰着。而这些家庭大多身处一种孤立无援的境地。大多数父母对孤独症的了解极少甚至没有任何认知，致使他们无法教育及应付他们的孩子。由于社会的不理解和不接受，绝大部分家庭被社会排斥在外。此外，如今中国的社会保障系统还不完善，使得财政拨款成为主要的额外负担。

纪录片“星星的孩子”聚焦在冯嘉伟一家人的身上。他们五岁的儿子是孤独症的患者。至今他还不会说话而且性格非常暴戾和极端。他曾被当地所有的学校拒之门外，而今他甚至还不能辨认自己的父母。对于一个家庭而言，他们常常受到外界的孤立和不理解他们儿子行为的人的侮辱。父母双方的事业也牺牲在对儿子坚持不懈的关注和照料上。这使得父母感受到家庭的前景没有一丝曙光，从而产生了轻生的念头。

他们最后的希望落在北京一家名为“星星雨”的慈善学校上。在这里，父母希望能够学习并掌握新理念和技能来更好的管教自己的孩子。如果儿子可以取得一定的进步那么他就会有希望被当地的公立学校所录取。反之，这一家人的前景相当严酷。

这一家人不远万里的来到北京，影片拍摄也跟随着他们一家在星星雨十一个星期的课程展开。这是一个关于父母不惜一切倾注所爱并共同奋斗为儿子打造未来的非凡动人的故事。

Sinopsis:

 Julieta y Ernesto son como el agua y el aceite: se repelen y se buscan, se aman y se odian. No pueden vivir el uno sin el otro y son la combinación ideal. Julieta es una mujer muy bella que a sus 38 años queda viuda, ya que su marido muere en un accidente automovilístico, ella no logra reponerse de la pérdida, además de sentirse culpable por conducir el auto aquella noche fatal. Sufre constantes pesadillas y desde aquel día no ha vuelto a trabajar como reportera de televisión; prefiere refugiarse en un pequeño negocio propio y dedicarse a su hija Mariana, de 16 años. Ernesto es un periodista reconocido, su gran inteligencia y su carácter explosivo, lo han hecho famoso en los medios informativos. Detrás de esa máscara de agresividad, Ernesto es un hombre justo y bondadoso, un buen hijo y el mejor de los padres. Su mujer lo abandonó hace muchos años, al no tolerar el hecho de que el menor de sus hijos resultara tener autismo. Ernesto y Julieta son invitados por un productor de televisión para ser los conductores de un novedoso programa de análisis y discusión sobre temas de actualidad. Nereus es un hombre con autismo que se está cautivo de la familia del crimen Filaria, porque tiene una increíble habilidad para predecir el resultado exacto de los eventos deportivos más importantes. Keith Taylor es un adicto a las drogas que está luchando para mantenerse limpio y trabajando. Todo esto cambia en el momento que Keith descubre a Nereus. Con renovada esperanza, Keith diseña un plan para secuestrar a Nereo y lo llevará a Las Vegas. Sin embargo, muchos otros también quieren a Nereus. Nereus is an autistic man who is being held captive by the Filaria crime family because he has an incredible ability to predict the exact outcome of sporting events. Keith Taylor is a drug addict that is struggling to stay clean and employed. This all changes the moment Keith discovers Nereus. With renewed hope, Keith devises a plan to kidnap Nereus and take him to Las Vegas. However many others want Nereus as well. One is an extremist spiritual group named the Mayans; another is two rogue DEA agents that have a plan to take Nereus on a Vegas trip of their own. The most sinister of these groups is the Filaria crime family and their two henchmen Santo and Johnny, who use extreme tactics like posting a bounty and enlisting a group of killer meth heads to hunt down and seize back the "Brain". Motivated by different reasons these groups inflict damage on one another and annihilate all that stands in between them and Nereus.

Biografía

(Fajcsák Henrietta, nacida el 27 de octubre de 1980, en  Eger, Hungría) es una pintora, poeta, escritora y artista húngara que se hizo mundialmente famosa con su libro Autizmussal önmagamba Zarva ("Atrapada con mi autismo"), antes de la edad de 30 años. En todo el mundo se llegó a conocer su historia: la historia de una niña con autismo y trastornos del corazón (como un prolapso de la válvula mitral), con tres trastornos oculares (miopía, astigmatismo y estrabismo), enfermedades ortopédicas y otros trastornos físicos. Ella renunciaría a su carrera musical a la edad de 13 años, a la escritura creativa a la edad de 25 años y a la pintura antes de la edad de 27 años. Ella llegaría a sufrir tres enfermedades autoinmunes y, en el 2009, sería diagnosticada con cáncer.

Henriett no miraba a los ojos en su infancia. En 1987, todas las escuelas primarias en su ciudad la rechazaron debido a sus problemas de comunicación. Ella fue inscrita en una clase de música y arte , pero,  nunca llegó a cantar, en 1989 fue enviada a una escuela de primaria para alumnos con discapacidad mental.

Ella tocaba la flauta desde los 8 años, el contrabajo a los 10, y hasta llegó a los 13 años a participar en muchos conciertos del Helyorsegi  Klub , para después renunciar completamente. Henriett tuvo una larga historia de arte visual, poesía y escritura en su infancia, atenuada por lo que hoy llamamos autismo y síndrome del sabio. A los 18 años ganaría el premio húngaro Géza Gárdonyi, y a los 20 el primer lugar en la International Literature Competition.

Henriett Seth F. (Hungarian pseudonym Seth F. Henriett; birth name Fajcsák Henrietta; born 27 October 1980) is a Hungarian autistic savant poet, writer and artist who became world famous with one book title Autizmussal önmagamba zárva ("Closed into myself with autism") and her one sentence on many cubes from her book made one monodrama, title Nemsenkilény, monológ nemmindegyembereknek ("Notanobodycreature"), before the age of 30 worldwide and internally having regard to her childhood autism and heart disorders as mitral valve prolapse, three eye disorders as nearsightedness, astigmatism, strabismus, orthopedic diseases and other physical disorders. She gave up creative music career altogether at the age of 13, creative writing altogether at the age of 25 and she also gave up creative painting altogether before the age of 27. Henriett Seth F.' s life and arts can be compared Arthur Rimbaud' s life and arts after her "Little Wassily Kandinsky" 's early childhood savant syndrome years. Henriett did not make eye contact in her early childhood. In 1987 all the primary schools in her town refused her admission application because of her communication problems. She was placed in a music and art class, but she never sang songs so in 1989 she was sent to a mentally handicapped primary school by two teachers, although she remained in music and art class.

She played flute at the age of 8 and played contrabass at the age of 10-12, and until the age of 13 she was in many concerts in the Garrison and Soldiers of Club (in Hungarian: Helyorsegi Klub) She gave up creative music career altogether at the age of 13.

She was also found to have echolalia, communications problems and repetitive behaviors, see Henriett as a young girl - on the first digitized videos of childhood autism and savant syndrome on Hungary - on investigations and language development with her photos of paintings by Hungarian Autism Research Group, Budapest, 2002. She was diagnosed with childhood autism by Hungarian Autism Research Group (Autizmus Alapítvány és Kutatócsoport) and two psychiatries of Eger.

Henriett had a long history of visual art, poetry and writing in her childhood; beginning at age nine and at age thirteen. Henriett universal effect of all that was what we now call autism and savant syndrome, she painted autistic art paintings to the House of Arts, Eger, and Hotel Stadion of Budapest in the East-European Autism Conference, 2004.
